On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Milpitas High School standout Max Gonzales’ current college team, the Cal State East Bay Pioneers, won 9-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Menlo Oaks.
The game took place at Pioneer Baseball Field. This was their third matchup against the Oaks this season.
The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. at Seawolf Diamond against Sonoma State Seawolves.
