City of Sunnyvale issued the following announcement on Nov. 9
Fair Oaks Park Renovation
Work to renovate Fair Oaks Park has begun. The new park will have:
- Inclusive playground designed by the Magical Bridge Foundation
- Multiple sports fields for cricket, soccer, baseball and softball with specialized lighting and synthetic turf for year-round and nighttime play
- Three basketball courts
- Dog park with areas for small and large dogs
- Picnic areas
- New restrooms and parking areas
Renovation of the park will include:
- Clearing existing structures
- Installing underground and electrical utilities
- Constructing park amenities and equipment
- Installing pathways, landscaping and irrigation
Work Hours: 7 a.m. ton 6 p.m., Monday to Friday (excluding holidays)
